Earth Hour

Yep. Today's Earth Hour. I first heard, or rather, read about it in Shin Bee's MSN's name. I was like, "What is that?" Then weeks later, I began to hear about it more often in newspapers, televisions, and even from my classmates! So, I began to feel like supporting it.

I would feel weird if I were to start talking about mother nature and stuffs, because it would sound more like Shin Bee or Max, don't cha think? Someone like me? Talking about mother nature? Nah. It's weird, even though I do, deep down, love mother nature. =P

So, at first, as expected, my family wasn't too happy to hear about Earth Hour from me. And, as expected, they thought it was like...a waste of time, etc. And I was thinking I might have to support this event by myself, in my dark little room. But, nope. Thanks to the mass media, they managed to convince my mother to support this event as well, and well.. You know, once the Queen has decided on something, the entire "nation" has to obey her, at all costs.

She was rushing home around 7.30pm, to bring us out for dinner. But my brother wanted to fetch something in Klang Parade, so we had to purposely drive down to Klang for him to get it, and drive back to Setia Alam 'cause my dad wanted to eat in a seafood restaurant there. By the time we got there, my mother's like, "Eh, Mag. It's already 8pm lah. Cannot make it in time." Eh, I know. But what can I do?

By the time we finished our dinner, we got back home asap. On the way back, we peered out of the car windows to observe the houses. Yes, there were some who didn't switch off their lights, but there were a lot of them who supported Earth Hour in Setia Alam. What's more amazing is that, when we drove back to Setia Eco Park, there were so many dark houses! On the way home, I was like, "Thank you! Thank you for all your support!" as we drove past the dark houses. And whenever we happened to pass by a bright house, I would say, "Eh! Baaaaaaaaaad boy! Or girl." xD Yeah, mad.

By the time I got back home, it's already 9pm. I rushed to switch off all the lights outside of the house while my mother and my maid struggled to get the doors open. They couldn't see which key they were holding. xD And when we got in, I ran to switch off all the lights as well.

Since the whole house is dark, our whole family gathered in the hall, watching TV. It's a great thing, cause somehow, by supporting Earth Hour and playing our roles to help our mother nature, we can even find chances to gather around together and laugh together at the Taiwan game show. ='] Touching.

My dad wanted to take his bath around 9.10pm. I told him he could just on the toilet lights if he really wanted to, but he insisted on using a torch light instead. xD So he dug a torch light from the bartable and went upstairs by himself, with a torch light. xD So good lah.

Since we were late in starting, we ended late too. And surprisingly, it was my mother's idea. Lol. She insisted we switch the lights on at 10, and yelled at us if we were to switch it on earlier. Funny how things turn out. But eventually, as 10pm arrives, we switched everything on.

So, yeah. That's what happened in tonight's Earth Hour. I'll try to remember, and I'm sure that Shin Bee will remind me next year, about Earth Hour again. =]

Mood: Better than usual, I guess.
Music: Nothing in particular.
Anime: Avatar: The Last Airbender [if you count that as anime], Chrno Crusade [rewatching the climax for fun], Death Note [maid wanna watch it xD].
Game: Subterranean Animism.

Everything's different , xoxo
