Redang Trip

Okay. I'm here to post about my Redang trip and off to studying. So, I'll be brief, although the fun was just too hard to describe in words. =D

First day of Redang trip, I was tired. So... Missed out on the first snorkelling trip. I regretted, I know. Don't say things like, "Ha! You deserved it!" Hurts me a lot, you know? xD In the evening, I went to the beach with mum and Luz[my maid]. It was relaxing, though all we did was just walk around the water and never played at all. Then, after dinner, we went a little shopping in these small stalls near the other hotels around. Bought a couple of short pants for myself since I had no short pants at all. And, who wears a long pants to a beach anyways?

Second day, was the best day ever! During the morning, we got up and prepared ourselves for my first snorkelling trip. To the Marine Park in Pulau Pinang! Seriously, guys. It's called Pulau Pinang. Lol. Just a coincidence. The marine park was awesome, and at first, I admitted I was a little scared to go deeper. For the first 15 minutes, I merely swam around the shore. But in the end, my brother insisted on bringing me to the deeper part to see more interesting fishes and corals, I was persuaded. And, oh my god, it's easier than I thought! You just have to float around and see the fishes under you along with the beautiful corals. Here are a couple of snapshots, I look dumb like a sea monster, I know.

First caption: I know I look like a sea monster.
Second caption: Second bro and me, after snapping a picture underwater, just takes so much effort from us.
Third caption: I look like an idiot, again. This picture 'features' us three siblings! ^_~

Anyways, after the marine park, we went back to the hotel for lunch and some rest. Around 3pm, we set out once again for another snorkelling trip! This time, it's in the sea! I was, once again, slightly worried that I might not be brave enough to try snorkel there. But, when we reached there and I saw the people who went snorkelling there, I was convinced to go there and have a try. Woot! Feels nice to snorkel! I tell you, you must never ever let your chance go if you have a chance to snorkel! ^_~ It was totally fun! The very feeling of being on top of the water and looking down at the marine life below was somehow...undescribable. Just try it for yourself. =P I'll post some pictures of the snorkelling trip in this sea later. It's in my brother's camera.

After that, we went back to the hotel again, and since it's only 5pm, we went kayak-ing! I kayak-ed once before but it's only in a calm river, but this time, in the beach and when the waves are getting stronger! Yeah, our kayak just gets pushed by the waves and we have to once again kayak deeper so we wouldn't knock any swimmers around. It was tiring, but overall, fun. =] And guess what? Lol. My second brother and dad's kayak kept on going upside-down for some reasons! xD It's so hilarious. I share the same kayak as my eldest brother. And we successfully kayak-ed without falling! Hooray!

Okay, on to the third day, the day where all happiness ends, and all sorrows begin! We have to go back now! T_T I know, we have to return home now. Mum and dad booked us a van in Kuala Terengganu since the departure is only at 4pm. We have loads of time in Kuala Terengganu also because the ship that leaves Redang is only at 9am and 12pm. We took the 9am one and leave Redang early. Sad, I know. When we got to Kuala Terengganu, we visited the museum, the crystal palace or something, etc. It was so hot, I meant the weather, and that's why, I don't really know what the hell I'm visiting. Lol. We went to Chinatown lastly, and we bought some Redang clothes. I bought one that was weird, I might snap a picture of it later. It's this small packet of cloth that resembled a T-Shirt. They say when you soak it in water for some time, it will expand to a fully normal T-Shirt. I'm gonna try it next time. =D So, since it hasn't been expanded yet, I'm gonna take a picture of it. Then, it was like 3pm already so we hurried back to the airport and left! That's all, folks!

Tried to make it short, but it ended up being another story of nonsenses. xD
